One of the great features of ArDrive is sharing Drives with others.
To share a Drive, go to the list all your drives (below the +NEW button) and select the Public Drive you wish to share.
To share this drive, click on the share icon at the left of the icons at the top right of the ArDrive app.
After clicking on the icon a text box will appear that has a link that you are able to copy and send to anyone of your choosing.
When the user receives your link and clicks on it they will be brought to that specific Drive and will be able to access the shared drive without needing an ArDrive account or login.
When you share a Private Drive, you’llnotice the "drive key" is included in the copied link.
This enables someone to view the Drive without having access to your wallet. Make sure you know & trust who you’re sharing your Private Drive & Files with & where you’re sharing it.
It is not recommended to share Private Drive & Files on public platforms.
If this drive key is deleted or changed, then you will no longer have access to that drive.
